The fantastic world of castles and ruins extends
from the Brennero pass in the North all the way down to the border with
Trento, from Val Pusteria in the East to the Western part of South Tyrol
called Val Venosta.
Well preserved nobility-estates, baronial castles and magnificent fortresses
with towers rising up to the sky, firm defence walls and monumental knight’s
halls are the witnesses of an eventful history.
Most of the historic buildings have been affectionately
restored during the past years and centuries. Some of them have been
